WHO ARE WE?

Merkantila Klubben rf is the student association for economy students at the School of Business and Economics at Åbo Akademi University. The association was founded in 1928 with the purpose of uniting students at the School of Business and Economics at Åbo Akademi University.

In 2013 we organized Glöggrundan 2.0 for the first time and over the years we have developed this event to be the largest Finland-Swedish student event that attracts over 5000 students yearly. Additionally we organize an annual party that attracts over 300 members and invited guests.

WHAT DO WE DO?

The main purpose of Merkantila Klubben is to bring together students at the School of Business and Economics at Åbo Akademi University. To accomplish this the student association organizes events to promote contact with businesses in Turku.

Additionally the association stays in contact with representatives in different parts of the finnish higher education policy system to guarantee good study conditions and opportunities as well as events to promote mental and physical well being among our members.
