Merkantila Klubben rf is the association for economics and business students, and also the largest student association at Åbo Akademi University with its 900 members. Through collaboration with Merkantila Klubben, companies can benefit from an excellent marketing channel for their business as well as getting in contact with possible future employees.

Interested in working with us? Together with Merkantila Klubben's Corporate Relations Committee we will tailor you a unique collaboration plan. As partners, we can offer you visibility on Merkantila Klubben's social media and in our member journal Henrik Street Journal. We can also offer you visibility at the major events organized by the association during the year, such as the Career Start Expo business fair, Merkantila Klubben's annual ball and Glöggrundan 2.0. THE ANNUAL BALL
Merkantila Klubben's annual ball is yearly celebrated as close as possible to the 26th of November. Over 300 happy members of Merkantila Klubben, alumni and teachers gather to celebrate. The annual ball is the association's most solemn event and it is the highlight of the academic year for the members of the association. There are several opportunities for collaborating partners to participate in this prestigious celebration that lasts for a week containing many different events and culminates in the annual celebration weekend itself. We are more than eager to implement all kinds of innovative ideas & suggestions for collaborations and are happy to discuss further them.
GLÖGGRUNDAN 2.0
The pub crawl Glöggrundan 2.0 annually gathers about 5 000 students to Turku, and is the largest event for Swedish-speaking students in Finland. The event is growing year by year and attracts participants from all parts of Finland. Among the participants are students from different universities and study programs, which means that the Swedish-speaking students in Finland are widely represented.

Glöggrundan 2.0 can offer visibility for companies in a variety of ways. We offer visibility on our social media, logo visibility on the event's posters, and other materials, as well as a chance for your company to take part in Glöggrundan 2.0's lovely atmosphere at the Cathedral Square in Turku on the day of the event. We are confident to find something that meets your needs, so do not hesitate to contact us.
CAREER START EXPO
Career Start Expo is a fair where different companies get to introduce themselves to the students at Åbo Akademi University. It is an opportunity for the companies to present the part-time jobs, trainee programs and summer jobs that they offer. Students should also have the opportunity to ask questions about at the companies and create a better understanding of what the companies do and what kind of possibilities they offer..

The companies have the opportunity to establish valuable contacts with the students, and might even find suitable a future employee. The student association Merkantila Klubben has organized this event since 2011 and for each year it has expanded and gained popularity - both among students and companies.
HENRIK STREET JOURNAL
The Henrik Street Journal, also called HSJ, is Merkantila Klubben's member journal. HSJ is usually published four times a year, two times in the spring and twice in the autumn. The magazine addresses active matters within the association, matters in the society, interesting gall-ups and other subjects that interest the members of the association and other readers.

The magazine is also available on the web at https://www.henrikstreetjournal.org, where you can read various articles, as well as old numbers of the journal. It is delivered to Merkantila Klubben's members, sponsors, friend associations, and alumni. All in all, 3 700 copies are printed and shipped all over Finland.
